A special flower and produce show, just for local community gardens.

With the support of Live Argyll and the Friends of Hermitage Park the first “Growing Communities Garden Show” will be held in the Victoria Halls on August 1.

A show schedule will be available soon, so community gardens planning their planting will be able to decide what they might like to grow for the show.

Organiser, local councillor Fiona Howard, is hoping that any groups, organisations or even businesses catering for gardeners will be able to come along with a stand or display, and the lovely group at Grey Matters Active Ageing will be providing the tea, coffee and home baking.
