We’re inviting the community to come together for an afternoon of learning, exploration, and hands-on marine science! We start the day at Cove Hall at 16:00, where you can meet the team, find out more about the work of the Clear Water Group, and connect with others who care about our coastal environment.

Refreshments will be available, kindly provided by the local Cubs, who will be raising funds in support of another community group.

Beach Research Session:
Following the indoor session, we will head to the shoreline for practical fieldwork:
5:00 PM – Research session
You’ll have the opportunity to take part in real citizen science activities, including marine observation and data collection alongside our team.

What to Bring:
* Sturdy, weather-appropriate footwear suitable for the beach
* Outdoor clothing appropriate for coastal conditions

Whether you’re curious, passionate about the environment, or simply want to get involved locally, this is a great opportunity to take part and make a difference.
