‘On My Own Doorstep’ is a socially engaged art project that has taken two years to produce. While working in collaboration with Derek Prescott artist Joni Brown conducted over sixty interviews with different members of her home community around the Loch Goil area.
The project represents a cross-section of the community as it is now, looking at who lives there, why did they come and what are their aspirations for the future, while gathering together their unique collective values of their place.
