Moths come in many colours, sizes and shapes yet we rarely observe them as they go about their lives in the garden. They are important pollinators and a valuable part of any garden’s ecosystem. Come along to the beautiful walled garden in Geilston to find out about its moth population.
Local lepidopterist Alan Kerr will set up his moth trap in the garden overnight and in the morning identify and tell us about the moths caught. No moths will be hurt in the course of this event, they will all be released to return another night!
