JOIN A CREATIVE PROCESS WITH A PURPOSE
Join professional artist and designer Laura Henderson of Good Stuff Creative to help create a logo and branding for the new Rhu & Shandon Community Trust.

Laura and RSCT Trustees will be at Rhu Hall on Tuesday 17 June and there’s an open invitation to local residents to drop in any time between 7-9pm with ideas, photos and stories to shape the design process and potentially provide content and information for the new RSCT website and project development.

Laura will have a series of displays at Rhu Hall that will demonstrate how logos now need to perform a range of functions and be adaptable for many different formats, including social media, banners, letterheads, grant applications, websites, interpretation boards and more. Where one logo design used to fulfill all functions, today’s logos are expected to be much more adaptable and recognisable.

Laura said: “RSCT’s first project is a community buyout of Ardenconnel Wood from Luss Estates, but the charity has a wide remit to empower the community to take action to tackle issues ranging from cost of living pressures to adapting to global warming, tackling biodiversity loss and restoring local natural and built assets.
“I’m looking forward to supporting the Trust with its branding and meeting local people who will steer my design ideas so I want to encourage people to come along and be part of the creative process.”
