Helensburgh will be hosting two fabulous Festive Shopping Saturdays to help you find that special gift this Christmas! Browse in unique independent shops and galleries, dine in award-winning restaurants and cafés, then relax in a boutique hotel or B&B. As well as the wonderful local independent shops and eateries, both Saturdays will also see fabulous events in our town square:

On Saturday 23 November it is the Festive Lights Switch On event, with entertainment, rides, market stalls and food trucks from 10am-6pm, and there is also the Hermitage PTA Christmas Market at Hermitage Academy.

On Saturday 30 November, it is the Winter Festival, featuring the popular Santa Dash at midday, with entertainment, rides, market stalls and food trucks from 10am-5pm, plus our local artisans will be hosting their Christmas Craft Fair in the Parish Church Hall off the square.

With regular direct trains from Edinburgh and Glasgow, and on the West Highland Line, Helensburgh is the perfect destination for a fabulous festive weekend!
