Halloween/ Samhain stories with Gauri Raje & Jeanne Brady
We are teaming up with the Scottish International Storytelling Festival for a double bill of storytelling
and workshop!
Stories of Birds & Beasts with Highland Storyteller & clarsach player Claire Hewitt on November 14th
between 2.30-4.30pm at Peaton Woods. Everyone welcome! Tix: £8 (adults)/ £5 (under-18s)/ under-6s go free
Claire Hewitt – storyteller, clarsach player and artist will be telling tales of the Swan Woman at Peaton Woods on Saturday 14th November (2.30-4.30pm). If you remember the swans that used to be resident in Cove, this performance is a homage to them. There will be hot Halloween soup, tea, coffee & juices.
On 15th November (10.30am – 4pm), Claire will run a workshop at Cove Burgh Hall for adults (over-18s) on weaving story & song! You don’t have to be a storyteller or a singer! Tix: £15 The next day Claire will conduct a day-long workshop at Cove Burgh Hall (15 November, 10.30am – 4pm) on weaving music & story together. No expertise in music or storytelling required. Light lunch will be provided.

Booking important for both events, so we know how much food to prepare for both events. You can pay on the day.
