The Arts Society Lomond and Argyll warmly invite you to our ‘Silver Anniversary Open Day’ on Tuesday 14th of June 2022 to celebrate 25 Years of the Society.

This exciting day will coincide with the final lecture of the season at Victoria Halls, given by Roo Irvine, as well as the unveiling of the Arts Society Plinth in Colquhoun Square, Helensburgh.

Timings for the day:
10.30am– June’s Lecture– “Mirror, Mirror on the Wall: The Evolution of Glass” is a whistle-stop tour covering 9000 years of Glass, and its impact on everything from Art and Architecture, right through to our cultural beliefs and self-identity. Lecture by Roo Irvine, BBC Presenter, Broadcaster and TV Antiques expert.
12.15pm– Plinth Unveiling at Colquhoun Square on Helensburgh. The committee unveil our official and new Arts Society Plinth with bronze plaque.
12.45pm– This will conclude the Arts Society Programme for 2021/2022.
