Helensburgh & District Beekeepers Association
Helensburgh & District Beekeepers Association (HDBA)
HDBA was formed in 1990 and has an enthusiastic following of both active beekeepers and those who are interested in bees, their behaviour and the many related subjects.
The aims of the association are to bring together beekeepers and encourage all who are interested in apiculture and to develop the knowledge & skills of Association members through the promotion of lectures, discussions and exhibitions of honey and beekeeping equipment and appliances.
The Association has an apiary which they encourage members to use.

Meetings
HDBA meets on the evening of the 4th Tuesday of each month from September to May, when they have a mixture of external & internal speakers along with some practical sessions. If you are interested in bees and beekeeping you will be very welcome at their monthly meetings.
They also run an Introduction to Beekeeping Course. The current programme of activities can be seen on the events calendar. https://helensburghbees.com/features/hdba-events-list/
