Within easy walking distance are the Rhu Inn, and The Ardencaple waterside pub and beer garden, and it is approximately a half hour walk along the seafront promenade to Helensburgh town centre for a range of unique independent shops and award-winning restaurants.
Visitors can enjoy easy access to many local attractions – Charles Rennie Mackintosh‘s internationally acclaimed National Trust for Scotland property Hill House, the Scottish Submarine Centre, Glenarn and Geilston Gardens and the Tower cinema are nearby. Only a few minutes away is Loch Lomond, and the area has a wealth of outdoor activities, such as the Three Lochs Way, John Muir Way, Clyde Sea Lochs Trail and Argyll Sea Kayak Trail.
